Fragments of who I am, written in words / 书写自我的碎片

← Back to About

"Some people find themselves in music. I find myself in characters—
the ones I read about, the ones I write, and the ones I become."

Soul Archetypes

Characters from fiction that shaped my worldview. They're not role models—they're mirrors.

Viviana — The Rational Strategist +

Source: "Green Tea Strategy" · Keywords: Strategic, Clear-minded, Calculated

On Human Nature

"Humanity—when victorious, they become oppressors and proclaim their own greatness. When defeated, they blame fate and others for their misfortune. How laughable."
"Those who cannot hear the music often think those who dance are mad."

On Power

"Authority cannot defeat the will of the people."
"When turbidity becomes the norm, clarity becomes a crime."

On Self-Reliance

"A wizard doesn't need a wand to cast spells. Just as a witch doesn't need a hero to be saved. She has her own gods."

Philosophical Connection: Viviana's observations echo Nietzsche's critique of ressentiment—the tendency to blame others rather than take responsibility. Her clarity represents the Stoic ideal: seeing things as they are, not as we wish them to be.

Xiao Die — The Liberator +

A transmigration protagonist who refuses to be anyone's concubine, fights against patriarchy

On Agency

"I refuse to be passive, refuse to be a flower in a vase... I will throw myself into the mud and fight... Whether I sweat or bleed, that is my freedom—the jewels in my crown."
"A butterfly and a blade can coexist within one woman."

Philosophical Connection: This resonates with Simone de Beauvoir's existentialist feminism— "One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman." Freedom requires choosing to act, not waiting to be chosen.

Shi Wu Qing (时雾清) — The Star Who Never Falls +

Source: Web novel by Han Yuu (寒yuu) · Keywords: Star, BE aesthetics, redemption, brokenness

On Being the Star

"Even at her most vicious, she is still a star. For a star to look at you — that alone is a gift."
"Qingqing is a star. Stars don't stay for anyone — but stars will always, always be up in the sky, watching over you and everyone."

On the Right to Cry

"Is it really not allowed to cry when you're sad? Crying is okay."

On Being Truly Seen

Everyone "loves" Shi Wu Qing. They say "I'd change everything for you" and "I'd become yours" — but none of them truly know her. Their love, however sincere, is too thin against the weight of reality. "Even if you love me, what then? Does it matter?"

The reversal that broke me: In one world, Qingqing planned to disappear again — to protect the people she loved. But someone saw through her. They didn't confront her, didn't demand the truth. They just quietly rewrote the tragedy into a happy ending from the inside. For the first time, she wasn't saved — she was kept.

On the author, Han Yuu: "I think I came too late." She stopped updating after her family member was diagnosed with a terminal illness. She once said nobody reads her work — she didn't know a 14-year-old reader would cry because of her words months later. She thought she was writing into the void. She was actually writing to me.

Philosophical Connection: The Star embodies the paradox of the Swordholder from The Three-Body Problem — the one who bears a burden too great for others to understand. Humanity never thanked Luo Ji, just as they never thanked Qingqing. The strong are feared, never trusted, even when they're the only ones holding everything together.

Silence Wang — The Believer +

Chinese singer-songwriter whose music and philosophy shaped my view of love and creativity

On Love as Creative Force

"Love makes everything happen. Love can become everything."
"Life is just a game—defeat all the unhappiness."

Philosophical Connection: This echoes Plato's Eros as a creative ladder— love for beautiful things leads to love of wisdom. Even unrequited love has intrinsic value as an act of devotion.

Core Beliefs

On Destiny

"Destiny is the perspective of looking back at the past from the future."

Why is destiny irreversible? Because it has, by definition, already happened. In the present moment, there is no "fate"—only choices. You are not bound by destiny; you are creating it.

On Concrete Love

"Love concrete people, not abstract humanity."

From Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov

On Self-Deception

"Because this world never lacks fools who deceive themselves."
