Characters that feel real, choices that matter
Text-based games where characters feel real and choices matter.
Most game characters feel like archetypes—the brave hero, the wise mentor, the evil villain. But real people are contradictory, surprising, and constantly evolving. My games try to capture that complexity.
A female-centric visual novel adaptation of Song Dynasty "huaben" literature. Historical characters with modern psychological depth, multiple endings based on player choices, and narratives that explore themes of agency, identity, and love.
I use psychological frameworks (MBTI, Enneagram) as starting points, not boxes. A character's type interacts with their experiences to create someone unique— someone who can surprise even their creator.
