Making sense of where to study
Edu-GEO-Pilot started from a problem I had myself: university rankings are everywhere, they all disagree, and almost none of them tell you what actually matters to a specific person. So I started treating it as a data problem — pulling ranking and program data together and analysing it on the dimensions I cared about, rather than the single number a magazine puts on its cover.
It sits at the intersection of two things I do anyway: data analysis, and a slightly obsessive interest in how education is structured. As my own college plans took shape, the tool grew alongside them.
